Ayush Mishra
I am a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Networked Systems Group at ETH, advised by Prof. Laurent Vanbever. I did my PhD from the National University of Singapore under the guidance of my advisor, Prof. Ben Leong. My research interests primarily lie in Systems and Networking, more specifically Congestion Control. My PhD thesis on understanding the modern Internet’s heterogeneous congestion control landscape received the ACM SIGMETRICS Doctoral Dissertation Award (Runners up). In it, I explore the extent and impact of CCA heterogeneity on the Internet through Internet-scale measurements, mathematical modelling, and Game theory. I did my undergrad in Computer Science and Engineering at the National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli.
I am currently working on finding creative solutions to the problems CCA heterogeneity introduces on the Internet, amongst many other things.
