Pietro Ronchetti

I am Pietro, a second-year PhD student in the Networked Systems Group led by Prof. Dr. Laurent Vanbever. My work focuses on Satellite Networks and Network Verification.

I am fascinated by the enormous potential of this new breed of networks. Large-scale satellite constellations are a reality, and they behave unlike anything we have built before. My work aims to make them more dependable by designing realistic systems that fully utilize their unique strengths while accounting for their constraints.

I received both my Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and my Master’s degree in Quantum Engineering from ETH Zürich. During my studies, I spent a semester abroad at UT Austin.
